The Coding Teacher Series: Raspberry Pi -Set up and Intro to Raspbian

Description: The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages such as Scratch and Python. Raspbian is a free operating system based on Debian optimized for the Raspberry Pi hardware. Participants will explore the steps to install Raspbian on the Raspberry Pi and review all the hardware settings.

Please be advised that by registering for an SRI&ETTC workshop you are liable for the workshop registration fee. If your school district does not pay the registration fee you will be billed by Stockton University. If you need to cancel your registration, please see the Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation Policy

You can withdraw from a workshop at no cost, up until two weeks before the workshop date. Please notify us of your cancellation by mail, telephone or fax. Withdrawals within two weeks prior to workshop date will forfeit half of the registration fee. No-shows on the day of the workshop will forfeit the entire registration fee.
