Addressing Substance Abuse: Best Practices and Emerging Trends Presented by the SRI&ETTC and NJPSA, FEA, Legal One

Description:

Participants will learn about the opioid epidemic and its impact on public schools as well as the work of the Governor's Task Force on Drug Abuse Control. Participants will receive information on best practices related to drug and alcohol abuse prevention, response, awareness, collaboration with law enforcement, discipline and counseling. Participants will hear from expert presenters from the New Jersey Prevention Network and the Association of Student Assistant Professionals of New Jersey.  Participants will receive information on the latest research and best practices being used in New Jersey school districts.  

This workshop will be presented by David Nash, Esq., LEGAL ONE Director, FEA and Lori Todd.

Cancellation Policy

You can withdraw from a workshop at no cost, up until two weeks before the workshop date. Please notify us of your cancellation by mail, telephone or fax. Withdrawals within two weeks prior to workshop date will forfeit half of the registration fee. No-shows on the day of the workshop will forfeit the entire registration fee.
