Everyone eats; making the topic of food an ideal way to connect classroom topics your students’ lives. This workshop begins with a quick survey of pressing challenges and questions in our global and local food systems, and then turns to a discussion of creative projects and questions that can help enrich courses in science, social science, or agriculture, and stimulate your students to think differently about food.
The Sustainable Food and Agriculture workshop will be presented by Ron Hutchison, Associate Professor of Biology at Stockton University.

You can withdraw from a workshop at no cost, up until two weeks before the workshop date. Please notify us of your cancellation by mail, telephone or fax. Withdrawals within two weeks prior to workshop date will forfeit half of the registration fee. No-shows on the day of the workshop will forfeit the entire registration fee.
