This session will focus on the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights with a special emphasis on recent guidance from the New Jersey Department of Education and US Department of Education. Issues such as conflict vs. bullying, addressing incidents involving special needs students, and HIB policies and procedures will be covered.
The workshop will be presented by Ms. Amy L. Elco, Esq., Cooper Levenson
Ms. Elco is a Partner at Cooper Levenson where she specializes in education law including education-related litigation and special education matters. She is lead attorney for numerous education clients in the region. Ms. Elco also is an adjunct Professor at Stockton University teaching School Law in its Masters in Education Degree Program. Ms. Elco graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School and is certified to practice in the United States District Court of New Jersey as well as New Jersey State Courts.

Withdrawals within two weeks prior to workshop date will forfeit half of the registration fee. No-shows on the day of the workshop will forfeit the entire registration fee.
